The Create and Maker Space has two Singer heavy duty sewing machines (4411) and one Singer overlocker sewing machine (14HD854) for members to use.

What is sewing?

Sewing works by mechanically driving a needle to sew or stitch cloth or other textiles. It is typically used to join pieces of a textile together.

What can you do with it?

The sewing station can be used to make clothes, soft toys, bags, and cushions. These machines can also be used for repurposing and upscaling old clothes and textiles into new items.
